And weren't exactly ... ( 1 week ago by Zarzavat)
And weren't exactly good at preserving themselves. It is actually a historical axiom that empires either :
A) Expand until overstretching and then crumble under the weight of either internal and/or external factors. (Roman Empire the most famous example)
B) Stagnate and get left behind in the tech race, becoming nothing more than a very large prey for other powers (Dynastic China)
And I think you agree with me that imperial collapse is due to built-in systemic reasons.
1: the Roman Empire ... ( 1 week ago by JAMESHI5)
1: the Roman Empire never actually collapesed because it left social bond and tools for future governments of Europe to unite again and have peace: Christianity. I think of the Roman Empire as the Empire the conqured and unified Europe and went through some bumps because lack techknowledgy to sustain the vast Empire, the Us and western powers are the Roman Empire ribirthed from its old ashes. The reason why the Roman Empire fell in the first place because it didn't have a sustainable social ...
social network like ... ( 1 week ago by JAMESHI5)
social network like a monotheistic religion. Paganism meant political instablity, lack of unity. and don't try and debunk me opinion with all the religious wars in Europe. Christianty worked, thats the bottem line why do you think the middle east made its own monotheistic religion? It works. monotheism is part of the golden pie that creates a sustainable peace within society. The reason the middle easy is in ashes today is because they got booted from the circle when columbus found a way around.
Why do you think we ... ( 1 week ago by JAMESHI5)
Why do you think we went into the dark ages after Rome fell? because theat huge political force and network held so much area in its hands, and when soemthing like that happens, chaos innsues. Thats why there has to be Imperialism, thats why there has to be that one large Empire, thats why there can't be division, it breeds chaos and darkness. The Cold War was the last war to decide which Empire would flourish humanity into relative world peace. The 21st cent. will see the last of this process.

hirukosama calling me a dumbass is very mature of you and yes Nazi Germany deserved what happened to them in WW2 which is utter defeat because of the Evil they have done to the World just like Japan it just happened that Germany was defeated before the nuke . I see no wrong in retaliating to war mongering nations like imperial Japan and Nazi Germany. For Russia they were vengeful of what Germany did to them, They have the largest casualty rate during the war and suffered a lot

Iv read the Rape of ... ( 6 days ago by JAMESHI5)
Iv read the Rape of Nanking, and its terrible terrible war tragedy, but that kind of barbarianism happens in all war, war is the msot ugly thing imaginable, thats why the west is trying to stretch its Empire, so their will be no more war, ands its working, look at China, they turned from Communist to capitalist from US diplomacy, not war, thats how the powerful the western Empire has become, if you don't submit, you die, simple as that, China knew this truth, and in reality its for the better.
If you dont submit ... ( 4 days ago by bajorjor1)
If you dont submit you die? where did you get that?, When Japan and germany was defeated by the West they were treated humanely and was given democracy afterwards, Now they have recovered and are powerful nations. Submit or die? C'mon
did the Nazi regime ... ( 3 days ago by JAMESHI5)
did the Nazi regime not die? Did the Ottoman, Austrian Hungarian, Russian, Communist China, Imperial Japanease, fascist Italy, and Saddam Hussein's regime not die? .....I think you need to learn how to read history better before you comment on videos lke this. You talk about japan and Germany recovering from the war, they didn't recover, we built them up, all those countries are now satilites and states under western influence and authority.
seriously man, ... ( 3 days ago by bajorjor1)
seriously man, Japan and Germany Started the War in case you don't know. US did not join until they were attacked, how is that Submit or Die? Nazism and Empirial Japan died because of a delusion that they are more powerful than other races, be glad the allies won the war or you'll need aryan and jap gene implants or DIE!!!!
I question the idea ... ( 3 days ago by JAMESHI5)
I question the idea that Germany and Japan started the war. was it not the US cutting japan's oil supply that provoked Pearl harbor? Not to mention that their is evidence the US let it happen because they needed to get involvedin the war (911 as well). And was it not the idiotic war reparations, massive territorial loss, and extreme embarressment put on the back of Germany that caused the rise of Hitler and invasion of Poland?...not that I'm disappionted the Allies won, I just try to b unbiased
So you dont know ... ( 2 days ago by bajorjor1)
So you dont know why they cut Japan's oil supply? Japan and US relations went bad when Japan attacked weak China and Japan left the league of Nations. It was Japan who provoked the World, Attacked it, and Japan got destroyed. Facts are facts Axis started the war dude question it all you like, prove it that is another story, any credible history book will tell you that the Axis started the war.
..unless your a ... ( 2 days ago by bajorjor1)
..unless your a Hitler lover it wasnt the idiotic war reparations, massive territorial loss, and extreme embarressment put on the back of Germany that caused the rise of Hitler and invasion of Poland, Hitler was just purely a megalomaniac who wants to rule the world and used those as his excuse
Would Hitler have ... ( 2 days ago by JAMESHI5)
Would Hitler have been embrased as he did if germany was not so broken by the Allies in WW1? Why did another HItler not come up after WW2? The marshal plan my friend, if we did the same thign to the Germans that we did in the treaty of Versailles, we would have had another Hitler to fight, but like this guy is saying, we spread our Empire, and like what this guy is saying in his video, what Im saying wont come up in any western history book. And no your wrong about the oil with japan.
Would Obama have ... ( 2 days ago by JAMESHI5)
Would Obama have won in a land slide if the republicans had not such a bad rep for the war in Iraq, the falling economy, etc. in the US right now? No, Obama won in a land slide because he promised to put money back in the pockets of the people and make things better. Hitler did the same thing, he promised to get the land, money, and reputation back to the German people, and what caused that? It was really the allies abuse of germany in the treaty of Versailles.
By the late 30's ... ( 2 days ago by bajorjor1)
By the late 30's the german economy was back on track, it was not hitler who made that possible it was the German People who worked their ass out, What Hitler did was poisoned their mind into war mongering. They did not need to attack all those nations, it was Hitler's idea. So you are better than the history books ei? Like i said prove what you are saying and since you cant have reference from books i advice you go to the field and talk to old people while they are still alive
I must tell you ... ( 2 days ago by bajorjor1)
I must tell you that History is a science that are composed of facts, you can argue them but you must have proof and reference, other than that you are just a speculator or a conspiracy theorist, If it cant be found in History books most probably it s just a speculation
Your analogy with ... ( 2 days ago by bajorjor1)
Your analogy with Obama andHitler is lightyears away because hitler destoyed all his opposition through violence, so that he was the only 1 left to be voted by the people. Obama would have won if he used Hitler's tactics any1 would but he did nt use it and still won because the people voted him Your analogy is just plain wrong
I'm not discussing ... ( 1 day ago by JAMESHI5)
I'm not discussing facts, I'm discussing interpretation. Who started any war is almost open to interpretation, and thats what studing history is about, like Howard Zinn is discussing in his film, his interpretation of America is that it has grone to an Empire, history books are written with facts and information with as little and nonbiased interpretation put into them, its up to people to critically analyze the reality of th world we live in the history of it. I interprete, not cons. theorist
And I might be ... ( 1 day ago by JAMESHI5)
And I might be wrong, I havn't read Hitler in a while, but didn't the National Socialist party (nazis) and the Communist Party run against each otherin 1933 before the SS raids? and the existing democratic government had failed and the people wanted German status restored. The nazi party won and once the nazis took control of the government, then Hitler sent his SS to kill all political oposition, and name himself Fuhrer.
so its your own ... ( 1 day ago by bajorjor1)
so its your own interpretation, i would not care less my friend I was just trying to make the facts straight but since we are not talking facts. There is no point is there.
I agree strongly ... ( 8 hours ago by wickedwilluk)
I agree strongly with what you are saying. It doesn't take a genius to recognise that the war reporations, combined with the effects of the great depression, led to significant social unrest in Germany. To suggest that the grave economic conditions which resulted in hyperinflation and high uneployment were not, at least in part, responsible for the rise of political extremism in Germany, seems a little naive to me.
